Lorraine Gajewski, nee Maciejewski, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Beloved wife of the late John S. Gajewski.  Born on March 17, 1924.  Devoted mother to John Gajewski, James (Barbara) Gajewski, Lynette McLaughlin and Jeffrey Gajewski. Proud grandmother of Janine (Ben Farmer), Joseph (Emily), Laura (Stephen Phillips), and Philomina “Alla”, Jonathan, and Charles McLaughlin.  Dear great-grandmother to Payton and AJ Phillips, and William and Julia Gajewski. Survived by her sister, Dorothy Olshan, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Lorraine was born and raised in Cicero, IL, and she and John raised their family in Berwyn. Upon retirement she moved to Carillon in Plainfield and later to Gurnee.  Lorraine was a parishioner of St. Leonard Church, where she was active in the Altar & Rosary Society, sang in the Choir, and served as a Eucharistic Minister.  She also volunteered her time at MacNeal Hospital, and she served as an Election Judge.
