Allen L. Terry, age 70, of LaGrange, IL; at rest November 6, 2015. Allen was born on March 27, 1945 in Morris, IL to parents Leonard and Lucille Terry. Graduate of Seneca High School. Owner of Terry Builders in Morris for many years and employed at Airoom, LLC in Lincolnwood, IL since 1998. Member of Nettle Creek School Board for 8 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and working on puzzles. He was an avid golfer (with a 290 yard hole-in-one) and sportsman, who enjoyed basketball and fishing. Favorite title - GRANDPA. Survived by: Kathy (Katie) Christensen Terry; Darin (Tory) Terry (Morris); Jeffrey (Annie) Terry and Ryan (Colleen) Terry (Hinsdale). Grandchildren: Lilly (Mike) Smetana, William Terry, Josh Terry, Justin Terry, Isabella Terry, Lauren Terry and Nathan Terry. Sisters - Sharon (Joe) Sanders, Kris (Jerry) Sheedy, Laurie (Tom) Hudson, Kimberly LoBianco, Jennifer (Jack) Cox, and Amy (Craig) Cassem. Brothers: Dennis (Sandy) Terry, Ronald (Mary Ann) Terry and Lennie (Dianne) Terry as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by granddaughter Hope Terry, sister Marcia (Harry) Kling and brothers Steve (Lynne) Terry and Randy Terry, brother-in-law's Arden (Sandy) Humbert, Robert (Roberta) Sealley, Sam Legner and nephew Michael Sealley. A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 11th, at the Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison Street, Willowbrook, IL 60527, from 3:00 - 6:30 PM, followed by a memorial service from 6:30 - 7:00 PM. Richard Norman 'Dick' Clemmensen Sr., 87, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2015, at his home in Oak Brook, IL. He was born on November 21, 1927 and grew up in Lebanon, IN and Robinson, IL. He served in WW II as a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy on the USS Bronson and USS Healy. After the war, Dick attended Miami University in Oxford, OH where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration in 1951. At Miami, Dick met his future bride, Virginia Phillipy, his wife of 47 years. He went on to a successful 25 year career with Armstrong World Industries, including his last position as president of Pacific World. He then successfully grew his own food brokerage business in Chicago. A beloved husband and father, he and his wife raised four children and were active in Scouting, their children's sports and the Episcopal Church. He enjoyed snow skiing, gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with his family. Dick was active on many boards, including the Chicago Crime Commission, President of the University of Illinois Dad's Association, and the West Suburban Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Dick was inducted into the Scouting honor society, Order of the Arrow, and was also a 32nd degree Freemason. He is survived by a son, Richard (Allyson) of Agoura Hills, CA, a son, Kurt of Dallas, TX, a son, Christopher (Beth) of Lake Forest, IL, a daughter, Ginger (Anthony) Leopold of Bolingbrook, IL; eight grandchildren, Lyndsey, Samantha, Christopher and Mackenna Leopold; Alex and Tyler Clemmensen, and Connor and Andrew Clemmensen, as well as two great grandchildren, Anthony Leopold and Chloe Leopold Velasquez. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia P. Clemmensen, a great granddaughter, Sophia Leopold Velasquez, a sister, Donna (Ed) Dean, a brother Fritz (Ginny) Clemmensen, and his parents, Fritz and Clara Clemmensen. Visitation is Friday, October 30, 3 to 8 p.m., at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook, IL. Funeral services are Saturday, October 31, at 11am, Grace Episcopal Church, 120 E. First St, Hinsdale, IL. Internment at Bronswood Cemetery, Oak Brook, IL. In lieu of flowers contributions in his name may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, P.O.
