Anthony Henry Pongetti, age 72, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, at rest April 24, 2016. Our thoughts are with all of those who have entered into eternal life before us including Clara (Pongetti) Gabrielsen (Sister), Dora (Russo) Pongetti (Mother), Anthony Pongetti (Father) and many members of the Russo and Rizzo families. May they be at peace and welcome Anthony to their table. Anthony is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ingrid (Stuermer) Pongetti and his daughter Gina (Pongetti) Bradley Angeletti. He is a proud grandparent of three little angels, Mia Francesca Angeletti, Sofia Dora Angeletti and Dominic Phyllip Angeletti. He also leaves this world with many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives both near and far, close family friends and a Union Brotherhood of Carpenters that have been his extended family for over 40 years. Visitation Friday April 29th from 3 to 9 pm at Adolf Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. 7000 S. Madison Street, Willowbrook. Family and friends will meet on Saturday April 30th for the Funeral Service 11:00 am at Christ Church of Oak Brook 501 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, IL. Services will conclude at the church. Anthony will be laid to rest privately at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.  We pray special prayers for the men and women still fighting today for our freedom and safety, their families, and a special thanks to Anthony and all of our Vietnam Veterans. Your service to our country is remarkable. Mary Pabst, of Willowbrook, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Hinsdale Hospital. She was a longtime member of St. Isaac Jogues Church, Hinsdale. Beloved wife of Dick; loving mother of Doug and dear sister of Jo Koster of Rock Hill, South Carolina and beloved companion of Oliver.  A graduate of the University of Delaware in nursing, Mary served as a lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps.   She continued her education receiving a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland at Baltimore and a PhD in Public Health Science from the University of Illinois—Chicago.  Mary held a variety of nursing instruction positions at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago and she joined the faculty of the Department of Nursing at Elmhurst College where she was Director of BS-RN Partnerships. In 2009, she was recognized as a Nurse Educator Fellow by the Illinois Board of Higher Education. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21st, 3:00pm to 9:00pm at Adolf Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St. Willowbrook, IL 60527. Friends will meet Friday, April 22nd at St. Isaac Jogues Church, Fourth and Clay Streets, Hinsdale, IL 60521 for 10:00am funeral mass. Interment will follow at Bronswood Cemetery, Oak Brook, IL with full military honors.
